Taj Experiences Gift Cards/eGift Cards are issued by The Indian Hotels Company Limited, hereinafter referred to as Taj.
You can check the balance and validity of your gift card at www.tajhotels.com/giftcards by entering the Card Number.
The card balance can be used at Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta hotels and Ama Trails & Stays in India for rooms, food and beverages, spa services and taxes – with no restrictions. However, it cannot be redeemed for retail spends at third-party outlets, business centre equipment hire or hired services from external sources; nor can it be used to pay for personal expenses such as medicines or repairs of personal items. Ginger Hotels are excluded from this offer and Taj InnerCircle Points, TAP Points, TAPPMe Points will not be earned on charges paid for using the Taj Experiences Gift Cards.
Redeemable at the hotel and at Taj Reservations Worldwide for prepaid room reservations.
Cards can be used for multiple transactions until the value is exhausted.
At the point of sale, if your purchase value exceeds the card value, the differential amount may be loaded onto the card or paid in cash or through an accepted credit or debit card.
At the time of service, a valid card in its original form or e-mail must be presented.
Taj Reservations Worldwide requires a credit card number and PIN when making prepaid room reservations. To guarantee the reservation, the entire amount must be paid by the credit card. If the balance is less than the due amount, the card must be reloaded before processing the reservation. Standard cancellation policies apply. Once a card has been issued, the company will not entertain any cancellation requests. Cards that are defaced, torn, altered, spoiled, or cancelled shall not be accepted.
In the event that a Taj Experiences Card is lost or stolen, the company is not responsible and will not replace it.
When the card is redeemed by its bearer, the company's obligations regarding the card are discharged.
Any dispute must be referred to The Indian Hotels Company Limited, whose decision shall be final.
Mumbai courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over any further disputes related to the card.
The company, purchaser, and card bearer must comply with all applicable laws promulgated by any statutory/judicial/competent authority from time to time in regard to the card.
